Reading Diary: Delinquent Daddy and Tender Teacher, Vols 1-3

Here is a series synopsis from the publisher's website:

Back in high school, studious Hitsuji had a secret crush on one of his guy friends—a friendly “bad boy” named Hatoyama—but never confessed. Years later, Hitsuji is now an elementary school teacher who discovers that the father of one of his students is none other than Hatoyama himself! When Hitsuji learns that Hatoyama is a single parent struggling to raise his son, he steps in to teach the sloppy Hatoyama how to clean and cook. Yet as the two grow closer, old feelings begin to surface. Will their newly rekindled friendship develop into something more?

I read the first three volumes of this slice-of-life BL series. I found it quite charming. It was fluffy and sweet overall, with a little bit of angst as Hitsuji and Hatoyama try to navigate their relationship while being mindful of protecting Hatoyama's son as well as Hitsuji's job at school. I wouldn't say that this manga stands out in any particular way. It's exactly what it says on the tin. I look forward to more volumes of this story.
